MRS. CLARA ADAMS, 88,

WAS LONGTIME RESIDENT OF KINGSLEY COMMUNITY

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Lillie Adams, 88, Meriden, who died Wednesday morning at a Cherokee hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dickison-Michaelson funeral home. Kingsley. Rev. K. K. Holt of Kingsley Congregational church will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was born Feb. 17, 1875, in Italy. She came to the United States at the age of 4 with her parents. They settled in Wisconsin. Mrs. Adams was, married to Fred Adams in 1892 in Genoa, Wis., and they came to Iowa in 1906. They farmed about 40 years in the Kingsley area.

She has made her home the last seven years with a daughter, Mrs. Frank Behrens, at Meriden.

Survivors include one son, Louie, Long Beach, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Behrens; one sister, two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
