Death of Edward E. Scott.
Edward E. Scott, residing on the old Scott homestead, two miles from Neptune, died on Wednesday morning after a brief illness of brain fever, aged thirty-one years.
His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Scott, residing on Franklin street in this city, were visiting in Charter Oak when informed of their son's illness by telephone on Saturday .evening. They hurried home to assist his wife in nursing him but he was unconscious on their arrival and did sot recognize them. He never rallied and passed away about noon on Wednesday.
The deceased lived here all his life and was a fine young man with many friends. He was united in marriage two years ago to Miss Isabel Wilson, of this city, who survives him. The funeral will be held today and the interment will be made in the Le Mars cemetery.
