Mrs. Frank Hoffman died at her home in Elk Point last week. She was a former Westfield resident. She was Miss Feauto before her marriage. She leaves her husband and nine children to mourn and many friends in Westfield and Elk Point, S. D.

--------------------------------------------Lillie Mattie Feauto was born in Woodbury county, Iowa, in the year 1889 and passed away at her home in this city on last Thursday morning, January 14, after a long illness.
When a small girl she moved with her parents to a farm near Westfield, in Plymouth county, Iowa. They later moved to Westfield where she grew to womanhood.
She was united in marriage with Ed Hoffman of that place in 1908 and to this union six children were born.
In the winter of 1923 she was left a widow by the death of Ed Hoffman and she later married Frank Hoffman, a brother of her former husband. Three children were born after her second marriage. The family then moved to Elk Point where she lived until her death.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Josephine Feauto of Westfield, her husband and nine children, Mrs. Glen Edwards, Stevens; Edward, Elk Point; Francis and Leonard, Westfield; Leona, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Robert and Irene, Elk Point; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Frank Whitney officiating. Burial was made in Elk Point cemetery.
