Charles, the twelve-year old son of J.C. Klatt, residing eight miles west of Merrill, choked to death on Wednesday morning while eating breakfast at the family table. The boy had been suffering from leukemia and the glands of his neck were swollen make it somewhat difficult for him to swallow easily. While eating he was taken with a vomiting spell and a piece of meat lodged in his throat choking him.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at the Adaville church.
