Mrs. W. D. Kennedy Dies Here After Brief Illness
Mrs. Ida J. Alderson Kennedy, wife of W. D. Kennedy, died yesterday morning at her home, 2217 East Twenty-fifth Avenue following a two week illness of uremic poisoning. She was 43 years old and had lived in Denver for a number of years.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Gladys Leona Kennedy; two sisters, Miss Sadie Alderson and Mrs. Elam Chapman; a brother, John Alderson and her father, Jonathan Alderson all of LeMars, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock today from the Olinger mortuary and the body was sent to LeMars for burial.

HAD BEEN ILL FOR A LONG TIMEMrs. W. D. Kennedy, a former well known resident of Seney, died in Denver, Colorado, on Monday, December 20, 1920, at the age of 43 years. Mrs. Kennedy suffered an attack of influenze two years ago and never fully regained her health. Her sister, Miss Sadie Alderson, of Seney, has been out in Denver with her for some time assiting in caring for her sister.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her husband and one daughter, Gladys. She also leaves to mourn her death her father, Jonathan Alderson, her brother, John Alderson and two sisters, Mrs. Elam Chapman and Miss Sadie Alderson, all of Seney and vicinity.
The remains accompanied by her husband, daughter and sister, arrived in LeMars on Wednesday at midnight and the funeral was held on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Wallace, of Seney, officating and the interment made in the LeMars City Cemetery.
