EDWARD A. MOCKLER FUNERAL SERVICE SET SATURDAY AT KINGSLEY
Funeral services for Edward A. Mockler, 75, Kingsley, who died Thursday evening at Sacred Heart hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic church in Kingsley. Rev. Raymond Welling will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Dickinson - Michaelson funeral home.
He married the former Pearl Feeney on Feb. 7, 1923, at Kingsley. They resided on a farm northwest of Kingsley until 1958, they moved to Kingsley.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Plymouth Barracks 1507 in Le Mars. He attended Manning high school at Manning, Ia.
Survivors include the widow; four sons, James, Jack and Robert, all of Kingsley, and Paul of Shawnee, Kan.: a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Case of Sioux Falls; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, William F. of Racine, Wis., Merrit of Carson, Wash., and Jim of Pinole, Cal., and two sisters, Mrs. Marion Armentrout and Mrs. Earl Rice, both of Harlan.
