A graveside service for Florence A. Goranson, 87, of 2415 S.W. Marion Ave., who died of cancer Wednesday at her home, will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Remsen town cemetery.
Mrs. Goranson was born in Minnesota and formerly lived in Remsen and Sioux City. She was a Des Moines resident for 16 years, a homemaker and a member of the Southgate Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the organization for more than 50 years. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Walker of Earlham; two sons, William Hunter of Yorktown, Va., and Russell Hunter of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
