WHITTECAR--At the home of his son, S. A. southeast of Akron, Friday, January 8, 1909, Josiah Whittecar, aged 80 years.

Deceased had been an invalid since about a year ago when he suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Whittecar was born in Clark county, Ohio in 1828.

He is survived by a wife who is a sister of Mrs. J Rush and two sons and six daughters,

Funeral services were conducted at the home of his son, S. A. Whittecar, Sunday afternoon by Rev. J.L. Ayrault, of the Baptist church. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
