On July 5, [Mrs. Ed] Hammel’s sister, Mrs. O. F. Vandusen, died suddenly. She had prepared dinner and told others in the house that she would like down to rest while the others ate their dinner. She was found dead a short time later. – Le Mars Globe Post, Aug. 2, 1923, page 1.
