Funeral services for Albert H. Reiners, 64, who died of a heart attack late Monday, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church at Remsen. Rev. Paul W. Wuebben will officiate and burial will be in the Community cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home of Remsen.
Mr. Reiner’s body was found at about midnight in front of the automobile repair shop owned by his brother, where he worked. Born on a farm near Remsen March 13, 1894, he was a lifelong resident of the Remsen vicinity, farming near Remsen before moving to town to work with his brother. He was a veteran of world war 1.
Survivors include two brothers, William of Remsen and Edward of Ocheyedan, and three sisters, Mrs. Mina Thayer, Mrs. Emma Sorensen and Mrs. Louise Haugen all of Sioux City. – Le Mars Globe Post, July 21, 1958, page 15.
