Albert George Lubben

Albert George Lubben, 62, lifelong resident of Plymouth county, died Thursday at Floyd Valley hospital. He had been ill for six months and had been hospitalized one day.

He was born July 22, 1907, at rural LeMars, a son of the late Albert and Margaret Kleihauer Lubben. His marriage to Emma Frerichs took place Sept. 30, 1937, in Grant township.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church, Grant township, Rev. Robert Reitz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Dennis and Gerald; a daughter, Mrs. Oral (Betty) Van Sickle, LeMars; four grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Lubben and Phillip Lubben, both of LeMars; three sisters, Greta Oetken, Mrs. Harry (Nora) Westoff, both of LeMars, and Mrs. Bruno (Margaret) Brunken, Struble.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald and three sisters and three brothers.

Mr. Lubben was a member of Christ Lutheran church, Grant township, rural LeMars.
