Died at the home of her parents in Henry township, at the age of 33 years, of inflammation of the bowels, Saturday evening, February 16, Miss Cassie Lotz. Deceased was a sister to our fellow-townsmen, Peter and John Lotz. She took sick Friday, February 15, and died during the night of the following day. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Feb. 25, 1895, page 4.

Note: Cassie is a daughter of Andreas & Elizabeth Lotz.
