Mrs. Robert Meyer Aged Remsen Resident Died Sunday Morning.
Mrs. Robert Meyer, who had lived in Remsen community 67 years, died Sunday morning at her home in Remsen, following a stroke several weeks ago from which she never rallied.
Anna Schuhart was born June 7, 1867, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, and as a young girl came to Remsen, where she later married Robert w. Meyer, who preceded her in death by four or five years. She had one son, Sidney Meyer, who operates a barber shop in Remsen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Moeller’s Funeral Home and at 2 o’clock in St. Paul’s Evangelical church in Remsen with Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating and burial will be in Remsen cemetery. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, April 13, 1948, page 8.
