Albert F. Lang. Funeral services for Albert F. Lang, 82, who died Tuesday at his farm home near Remsen, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran church Rev Paul Wuebben will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Mr. Lang was born near Remsen March 11, 1877. At the age of 27 he moved to California. He married Irene Leona Stocksill at Berkeley, Cal., June 2, 1915. The couple farmed in Montana until 1917 when they moved to Remsen community.
Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Lester Rollins of Le Mars, Mrs. John Maloney of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. C. W. Stine of Ashland, O.; four sons, Clyde and Howard of Remsen, Wayne of Denver and Roger of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters and a brother. – Le Mars Globe Post, Oct 1, 1959, page 2.
