Obituary. Mrs. Andrew Juhl.
Mrs. Andrew Juhl, 83, longtime Remsen resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday at the Orange City hospital. She had been hospitalized for five weeks and was planning to return to her home the day she died.
Mary Amelia Moser was born May 6, 1888, north of Remsen in Fredonia township. She was married Feb. 18, 1914, at her farm home. Her parents were Fred and Elizabeth Baumgartner Moser.
The couple farmed north of Remsen from 1914 until they moved to Remsen two years ago.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church in Remsen with Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating. Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
Survivors are her husband Andrew of Remsen; a son, Lyle of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Loren (Marian) Jaminet of Covina, Calif., six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Dornbusch of Milbank, S. D.
