Note: I put her first married name in the deceased name box because I am guessing that is what is on her gravestone beside her first husband.

Mrs. Fred Husman

Mrs. Fred Husman, 75, Akron, died July 18, 1976, at her home after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wesley United Methodist church at Akron with Rev. Sherman Tidball officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery will be under direction of the Schroeder funeral home.

Mrs. Husman, the former Marian Viola Rhodes, was born Oct. 2, 1900, near Akron and lived all her life in Akron. She operated the Elite shop, a women's clothing store, for 39 years before her retirement in 1967. She was married to George Thorberg Sept. 30, 1943, in Akron, and he died in 1951. She was married Oct: 11, 1962, to Fred Husman in Akron.

Survivors are her husband; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Falta of Big Lake, Minn.; two grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Lias, Akron, and Mrs. Lila Kirk, Racine, Wis..
