Note: Her mother's maiden name was Summers.

The remains of Mrs. Rollo J. Baker, whose death occurred October 10, 1917, at Colorado Springs, Col., were brought to Akron by her husband for burial Sunday. A number of relatives and friends met them at the depot Sunday forenoon and accompanied them to Riverside cemetery, where Rev. F.E. Volck, of the Baptist church conducted the burial service and spoke words of comfort to the sorrowing ones. About thirty autos were assembled at the cemetery, bringing something like 150 relatives and friends to pay a last tribute of, respect to the departed.

Ella Estella Jenison was born April 26, 1892, at Ireton, Iowa, where she resided until her marriage to Rollo J. Baker, of this place, July 3, 1914, the ceremony being solemnized at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Sioux City. Mrs. Baker began failing in health last spring and when, about June 1st, it was determined that her ailment was tuberculosis, her husband at once took her to Glockner Sanatorium at Colorado Springs, Col., where every means known to medical science was employed to restore her health, but without avail. Besides the sorrowing husband, she is survived by three small children, Barbara, Slade and Rollo John; her father, E.P. Jenison, of Ireton, la., and one brother, Merle Jenison, living in Minnesota. A young woman of many personal charms and of pleasant, helpful disposition, her untimely taking away is mourned by all who knew her, and many friends unite in the offer of sincere sympathy to those near and dear to her.

Relatives from a distance attending the burial services here Sunday were: E.P. Jenison, of Ireton, her father; Merle Jenison, from, Minnesota, her brother; Mrs. Warren Earl and Mrs. Fred Earl, of Hawarden; Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Jenison, from near Hudson, S.D., with whom she made her home for several years after the death of her mother.
