Mrs. C. A. Rodolf Is Dead

After a Long Illness She Passes Away on Monday.

Mrs. C. A. Rodolf died on Monday morning at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Collins after a long illness. The doctors give the cause of her death as heart failure

Mrs..Rodolf was never a very strong woman and for a number of years her health had been poor. Her death was doubtless accelerated by the tragic end of her husband, who was killed last year out in Colorado, being found cut to pieces on the railroad track near LaMar.

Mrs. C. A. Rodolf was the daughter her maiden name being Agnes Irene of Robert and Margaret Collins, of Seney, and was born at London, Canada, on March 2, 1860. With her relatives she came to Plymouth county in 1879 and this has ever since been her home. She was united in marriage in June, 1887, with Chas. A. Rodolf, who was at that time treasurer of this county. They lived afterward at Seney where Mr. Rodolf was engaged in business and later in Le Mars again when Mr. Rodolf conducted a grocery store. Three children were born to them, Robert, Harold Albert and Margaret, who are now bereft of both parents.

Mrs. Rodolf was prominent in social and club circles in this city and had a large number of friends who will regret to hear of her death and who sympathized deeply with her in the great trials which overshadowed her life in the last year or two.

The funeral was held yesterday at the Collins home at Seney at 1 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. W. J . Johnson of the Congregational church the remains were interred in the city cemetery beside those of two brothers who preceded the grave.
