Mrs. B.A. Adams, 97, of Akron died Wednesday (Sept. 1,1982) in a nursing home at Akron after long illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Wesley United Methodist church in Akron. Rev. Peter Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder funeral home.
Mrs. Adams, the former Mary Elizabeth Searls, was born July 6,1885, at Akron.
She married B.A. Adams Feb. 14, 1911, at Akron. They farmed in the Akron area for many years, retiring in 1963. He died in 1969.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Lois) Willer of Akron; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barton A. Adams, 97, Akron, died Wednesday (Sept. 1, 1982) in the Akron nursing home after a long illness.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 in the Wesley United Methodist Church in Akron. The Rev. Peter Peterson officiated. Organist was Mrs. George Stowe, and soloist was Mrs. Stuart Harris, who sang, “The Lord Is My Shepherd,” and “Abide In Me”. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Larry Bernard, Gaynor Harris, Daniel Searls, Walter Searls, Ed Searls and Bill Searls.
Mrs. Adams, the former Mary Elizabeth Searls, was born July 6, 1885 at Akron. She married B. A. Adams, Feb. 14. 1911 at Akron. They farmed in the Akron in Akron area for many years retiring to Akron in 1963. Mr. Adams died in 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Lois) Willer of Akron; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
