Delbert J. Hoffman, 65, rural Le Mars, died Wednesday morning at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a. m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. John Turza officiating Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Luedtke funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Parish rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born July 6, 1905, at Akron, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hoffman. He had farmed in Union township since 1966. He was never married.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, George, James and John.

Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Vernon (Winifred) Morehead, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Heyl, Mrs. LeRoy (Rose) Welter and Mrs. Joe (Neva) Lewis, all of Le Mars; and four brothers, Bernard, Cleo and Charles, all of Le Mars, and Maynard of Anaheim, Calif..
