ROBERT H. BANKS OF WESTFIELD DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Robert Howell Banks, 60, Westfield, former Sioux City resident, died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Anderson funeral home, Sioux City. Rev. O. Elbe of the Congregational church at Elk Point, S.D., will officiate. Burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.

Mr. Banks was born Sept. 20, 1905, at Westfield. He lived in Sioux City for 10 years and farmed in the Westfield community for the remainder of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Florence Banks of Westfield; eight brothers, Alvord, Arden, Belmer, Emmett, Joe, Lloyd and Wurth, all of Westfield, and Orel of Akron; and two sisters, Vera Banks and Mrs. Marian Postlewait, both of Westfield.
