Mr. Demaray, a respectable farmer living on the Curios Little place, in Stanton township, died on Sunday last of paralyses. Mr. Demaray was taken sick Friday, suffering greatly until death.

The funeral took place Monday. Mr Demaray had lived in this county for eight years past.

He was a Canadian. Married in 1844, and the father of nine children, the oldest, a boy, dying in infancy.

At the funeral all the children were present except one married daughter who resides in Montreal.
