Laurence A. Beaubien
Laurence A. Beaubien, 74, of Akron, died Saturday (Dec. 4, 1982) at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron. Rev. Stanley Stone will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.
Mr. Beaubien was born Sept. 4, 1908, at Westfield. He married Catherine Ruth Curry June 10, 1930, at Sioux City. They moved to Tulsa, Okla., in 1937 where he owned and operated Laurence's Auto Repair for many years, retiring to rural Akron in 1972.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Jeanne) Cooney of Madison, Wis.; two brothers, G.W. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Armand of Chelsea, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. George (Pearl) Rowe of Sioux City and Mrs. A.J. (Irene) Mann of Fair Oaks, Calif., and three grandchildren.
