August 20, 1946DIES FOLLOWING FARM ACCIDENT
Frank Falk Spent Entire Life in ElginFrank August Falk, Elgin township farmer, who was fatally injured Monday of last week when a grain elevator he was moving fell on him, died Saturday, August 17, at the Sacred Heart Hospital where he was taken after the accident.
Mr. Falk, son of William and Amelia Falk, was born July 4, 1892, on the farm 1 ˝ miles northwest of Seney where he spent his entire life. He was married January 10, 1920, to Nellie E. Bowers, who survives him. Other survivors are a daughter, Jean; his mother, Mrs. Amelia Falk; a grandson, Robert; a brother, George, of Centerville, S.D.; four sisters, Mrs. W. F. Johuke, Mrs. Mayme Nussbaum, Miss Hazel Falk of California, Mrs. H. G. Pech of Merrill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Elvit, his father, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at the Mauer Funeral Home at 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon and burial will be in the LeMars City cemetery. Rev. George Dunn of First Methodist church Sioux City will officiate.
The pallbearers will be Clarence Albert, F. A. Eason, Wilfred DeRaad, Peter Ahrendsen, Joseph Groetken and Williard Pech.
