Fay Lower
Fay Lower, 63, Bronson, died June 7 at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.
Services were held at 1 p.m. June 10 at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside. The Rev. James E. Smith, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, officiated. Burial was in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City.
Mr. Lower was born Feb. 27,1911, in Akron. He moved to Bronson in 1933 where he farmed. He married Effie Spink of Bronson Oct. 7,1931, at Elk Point, SD.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Robert of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Hinds of Worthington, Minn., and Mrs. Warren (Betty) Griffith of Kingsley, la.; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Lone of Marshalltown, and Dort of Knoxville; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Jammerthal of Akron.
