Obituary. Emory G. Hansen.
Emory G. Hansen, 62, of Henry township, rural Remsen, died unexpectedly Wednesday, (Oct. 25, 1972) at the Sioux Valley hospital, Cherokee.
He was taken to the hospital Tuesday night.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church, Remsen, with Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating.
Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home, Remsen.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Walter, Raymond, Arlie and Elmer Grage and Henry and Harry Kahl.
Mr. Hansen was born Oct. 9, 1910, in Henry township, south of Remsen, the son of the late August H. Hansen and Emma (Grage) Hansen.
He had lived his entire life on a farm south of Remsen.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Emma Hansen of Remsen; two brothers, Henry and Roy, both of Remsen; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Sitzman of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews.
