H. KEMP, OYENS, DIED DECEMBER 6, 1946
Well Known Man Died Following Long Sickness

Harry Kemp, Oyens, Ia., passed away, Friday December 6th. at the Sacred
Heart Hospital following a long sickness. Mr. Kemp, 66 years old at the
time of his death, was born in Consdorf, Luxembourg in 1880. He was the
owner and operator of a tavern at Oyens, where he has lived for 30 years.

Mr. Kemp was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles and Columbus Club.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 this morning at St. Catherine's Church
in Oyens. Father Karhoff officiated at the services and burial was in St.
Catherine's cemetery. The body was at the Wiltgen Funeral Home until the
time of the service.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C. E. Hendrick of Santa Cruz,
California and Luangel; and a sister Mrs. Lucy Johler of Chicago, Ill.
