Samuel Laddusaw, 85. of Shakopee. Minn., a former Oyens resident who died at a Le Mars hospiial Tuesday after a one-week sickness will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (today) at St. Catherine Catholic church in Oyens. Rev. Laurence F. Schoeppner will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the.Fisch funeral home of Remsen, la.
Mr. Laddusaw was born February 2, 1872 at Davis City. la. He married Elizabeth Mooney November 17, 1897 at Remsen. They farmed near Oyens and LeMars until moving to South Dakota in 1932. They moved to Shakopee seven years ago. Mr. Saddusaw was visiting his daughter. Mrs. Joseph Schilmoeller of Granville at the time of his death.
Survivors in addition to Mrs. Schilmoeller. are another daughter, Mrs. John Sheehan of Sioux City: four sons. William and Walter, both of Shakopee. Lawrence of Sioux Cily and Sherman of Remsen; 32 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren. Mrs. John Sheehan's husband passed away Saturday, July 27.
