Mrs. Homer Wohlford, 88, of, Akron, died Sept. 2 at a hospital in Akron after a long illness.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sept. 6 in the Linquist Funeral Home at Pipestone, Minn. The Rev.Wilbert Traver officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Pipestone. A visitation at Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Mrs. Wohlford, the former Pearl Wright, was born July 7, 1885 in Cedar, Kansas. She was married Dec. 8,1905 in Maryville, Mo. The couple farmed near Trosky, Minn. until Mr. Wohlford died in 1956. She moved to Akron in that year.

Survivors include a son, Howard of Hayesville, N. C. a daughter, Mrs. J. F. McVay of Akron, five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harold Wohlford, Frank Young, Douglas Schmidt, Robert Young, Terry Schmidt, Douglas Gossard.
