Mrs. Herbert (Agnes) Miller

Mrs. Herbert (Agnes) Miller, 86, Akron, died Saturday (January 14, 1984) in the Akron City Hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron. The Rev. Benard Nelson officiated. Vocalist was Gary Tucker, and Benita Engel, organist. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron, under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Pallbearers were Donald Boetger, Arden Boetger, Jack Miller, Tom Miller, William Miller, Leonard Halweg, Lowell Boetger, and Robert Fletcher.

Mrs. Miller, the former Agnes A. Erickson, was born June 30, 1897 to John and Bette (Gilbert) Erickson, rural Le Mars. She married Herbert A. Miller August 31, 1921 at Sioux City. They farmed in the Akron community all their married life. Mr. Miller died July 25, 1982. She moved to the Akron nursing home in January 1983. Mrs. Miller was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church and LCW.

Survivors are nieces and nephews.
