Creed C. Lewis, 46, of Westfield died April 3rd at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Mr. Lewis was born May 25th, 1925 at Chattanooga, Tenn. He married Marian Bern, February 14, 1963 at Chicago, Ill. He was employed as a chef in the Chicago area for many years. They moved to Westfield 2 years ago.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. April 6th under the direction of Ronald Schroeder of the Schroeder Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating. Burial was at Liberty Township Cemetery at Calumet, Iowa.

Pallbearers were Leo Faust, David Parsons, Roger Kurtenbach, Vern Fedders, Francis Blum and Virgil Ross.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers.

Survivors are his widow, Marian; two brothers, Jack, of Georgia, Earl, of Tenn., four sisters, Mrs. Mac (Vesta) Smith, Mrs. A. B. (Nola) Whaley, Mrs. Sam (Cecil) Ship and Mrs. Joe (Edith) Lantych, all of Georgia.
