Mrs. Emmet (Ollie) McGraw, age 71, died Monday, November 15, in Le Mars after an illness of nine years. A homemaker, Mrs. McGraw was a lifelong resident of the Akron and Le Mars areas. The former Ollie Vanderham, she was born February 2, 1900, at rural Akron, a daughter of the late Theodore D. and Margaret Ann Schluter Vanderham. She married Emmett McGraw in September 1929 at Sioux City. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Donald Deines officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGraw was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Henry and Martin and a sister, Minnie.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Stevens of Le Mars, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Jerry (Judi) Hoffmann of Mildenhall, England, and Patricia Stevens of Ames, and a great-grandchild.
