Word was received here of the death of Walter Eriks, 55, at his home In Santa Clara, Calif., following a heart attack.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Eriks, former residents of the Akron vicinity who moved to Pipestone, Minn., when Walter was a child. Walter served four years in World War II after which he married and settled in Santa Clara, where he worked for the City Van Moving Co.

His wife, Opal, proceeded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Walter, two sisters and nine brothers.

Burial was at Santa Clara, Calif.
