MRS. IDA LINDGREN AKER

Mrs. Ida Lindgren Aker, of Kingsley, 62, died Saturday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a short sickness.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kingsley Methodist church with Rev. Everett Major officiating. Burial was in the Kingsley cemetery under the direction of the Dickison funeral home of Kingsley.

Mrs. Aker was born March 3, 1896, in Sweden. She came to the United States in 1912, first settling in Connecticut. She moved to Washta, Ia., where she was married to Nels Lindgren February 27, 1915.

The couple moved to a farm west of Kingsley in 1928, moving into town in 1948. Mr. Lindgren died January 13, 1948.

She was married to Joseph Aker, July 21, 1958, at Kingsley.

Survivors are the widower; four sons, Albert, John, Arthur and Harry, all of Kingsley; six daughters, Mrs. Vera Blendl, Mrs. Ann Taylor and Mrs. Maxine Parker, all of Kingsley; Mrs. Florence Henry of Parkers Prairie, Minn., Mrs. Ruby Apollo of Omaha and Mrs. Gladys Petersen of Moville, Ia.; five brothers, Albert and Edwin Johnson of Washta, Ia., Hjalmer Johnson of Aurelia, Ia., and Axel Johnson in Sweden.
