August Hauser, an old resident of the county and for many years a Milnerville resident on his farm here, passed away at his home in Westfield on Wednesday last, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Hauser was well known and liked by his many old neighbors in this locality, who regret his passing. He leaves a widow and four children, Hart, Signur and Noah, the sons of the family, and Mrs. Ernest Clark, the one daughter.

The funeral was held at Akron and interment made in the cemetery there.
