Mr. John Schutt, an old and respected citizen of Remsen, died on the 12 inst (?) after a long suffering from dropsy. – Le Mars Sentinel, Dec. 23, 1890, page 4.
Note: The last name has been spelled Schut, Schutt and Schudt.
