Minnie Benjegerdes Buried in Remsen.
Miss Minnie Elizabeth Benjegerdes, 76, lifelong resident of the Remsen vicinity, died Saturday at Sacred Heart hospital.
Miss Benjegerdes was born May 12, 1884 on a farm near Remsen. The family moved to town in 1944. She had been an invalid for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Dietrick, and a cousin, William H. Benjegerdes with whom she made her home.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran church. Rev. Paul Wuebben, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran church, officiated. Burial was in the Remsen cemetery under the direction of the Moeller funeral home. – Le Mars Sentinel, Sep. 19, 1960, page 6, column 6.
