Services are Saturday for Frenchy Brouillette
F. L. (Frenchy) Brouillette, 64, longtime Le Mars salesman, died unexpectedly Thursday morning (Sept. 13, 1973) at Floyd Valley hospital after suffering a heart attack at a Le Mars business place.
He was rushed Thursday to the hospital by the Luken-Johnson ambulance after the resuscitator squad answered the call at 10:57 a.m.
He was born March 4, 1909, at Ashton, the son of Louis and Barbara (Simeon) Brouillette and came to Le Mars as an infant whore he attended Le Mars schools. After living in North Dakota a few years he returned to Le Mars.
He and Vida Atwood were married April 12, 1934, at Sioux City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic church with Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.
Parish rosary will he recited at 6:.30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Vida, Le Mars; two daughters, Mrs. Ramonda Athens, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Roaslie Lade, Coon Rapids, Minn.; a son, Richard, Warrensberg. Mo.; a sister, Mrs. (Elda) Thoms, Fargo, N.D. and a brother, Ray of Madelia, Minn. There are 11 grandsons and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
