Obituary:
Mrs. Anna Margaret Gruber, 78, route 1, Plymouth County, died Sunday morning in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Born October 16, 1867, at Oto, Ia., Mrs. Gruber was married in February, 1900, at Mapleton and had lived in this community 40 years.

Surviving are the widower, Henry; a son, William, of Bakersfield, California; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Barkeley, of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Walt Taylor of Bonesteel, S.D., and Mrs. Joseph Green of Oto; a brother, J. O’Connell of Anthon, Ia., and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michael’s Catholic church. Rev. F. H. Greteman will officiate. Interment will be in the Masoleum at Calvary cemetery.
