Mrs. Glenn (Marion Louise) Detloff 59, who lived her entire life in rural Plymouth County, died Wednesday (September 21, 1977) at her home after an illness of three years.
The former Marian Louise Buss, she was born November 28, 1917, in Plymouth County to Harry and Elizabeth Utech Buss. Her father preceded her in death.
Mrs. Buss was a member of Seney United Methodist church and W.S.C.S.
She was married June 7, 1939 at Sioux City to Glenn Detloff.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. Lyle Johnston and Rev. Everett Staats officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of Mauer Funeral home in Le Mars.
She is survived by her husband Glenn, Le Mars; two sons Roland and Michael Detloff, both of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Gabe, Woodstock, Ill,
her mother Mrs. Elizabeth Buss and a brother Earl Buss, both of rural Le Mars. Two grandchildren, Caris and Liz Gabel also survive.LeMars Daily Sentinel September 1977
