Herman Henry Jaster

Herman Henry Jaster, 79, lifetime Johnson township farmer, died Sunday at Floyd Valley hospital following an illness of several weeks. Me had just entered the hospital.

He was born June 1, 1889, at Elkport and had lived with his sister, Mrs. Amelie Heeren at Kingsley since 1950. He was the son of the late Goettlieb and Amelie Martin Jaster and was never married.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran church, Johnson township, rural Merrill. Rev. Olaf I. Rossing will officiate and burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors are two sisters. Mrs. Everett (Amelie) Heeren, Kingsley. and Mrs. Fred (Alma) Heeren, Le Mars, and a brother, Emil Jaster, Columbus. Neb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters. Ida, Emma, Alvina and Mary and three brothers, Arthur. John and William.

Mr. Jaster was a. member of St. Paul Lutheran church.
