OLD RESIDENT DIES
Henry Schuldt Lived in Grant Township Many Years Ago
After a brief illness with pneumonia, Henry Schuldt, Sr., a resident of Sioux City and;vicinity since 1834, died at a Sioux City hospital Monday.
Mr. Schuldt was born in Germany 68 years ago. In 1884 he came to the United States, settling at Le Mars, where he made his home until twenty-five years ago when he moved to Sioux City.
Ten children survive Mr. Schuldt. They include Mrs. Anna Soost, Wells, Minn.; Mrs. John Eilers, Craig; Mrs. Louis Thunhorst, Hinton; Henry Schuldt, Jr., Sioux City; Charles Schuldt, Sioux City; Victor Schuldt, Sioux City; Hugo Schuldt, Sioux City; Ernest Schuldt, Sioux City; Richard Schuldt, Sioux City and Mrs. Harold Viall, of Sioux City. One brother and two sisters also survive. They are Carl Schuldt, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. Carl Denker, Wagner, S.D., and Mrs. Fred Cook, Hudson, S. D.
The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Graceland park mausoleum in Sioux City.
