Obituary. Hans T. Miller.
Hans T. Miller, 88, longtime Remsen resident, died early Wednesday (May 19, 1976) at Happy Siesta nursing home in Remsen after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Miller was born Sept. 24, 1887 in Denmark to Jens and Dorthea Miller. He came to the Marcus vicinity when he was a young man.
On March 3, 1915 he married Christina Kloster at Oyens. She died in 1967. The couple had farmed in the Remsen area.
Funeral series will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Remsen. Rev. Karlton Wagner will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen Memorial [city] cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home in Remsen.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors are two brothers, John and Louis Miller both of Marcus and several nieces and nephews. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, May 19, 1976, page 10.
