Kloster, Edna Elnora, 1915-1990
Edna Elnora Kloster, 75, formerly of Oyens, died Saturday, September 15, 1990, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars after a long illness.
Miss Kloster was born May 23, 1915, in Fredonia Township, north of Oyens, the daughter of Jens A. and Thora Marie (Nielsen) Kloster. She attended the country schools in Marion Township. She lived with her parents in Oyens and had resided at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center [Plymouth Manor] at Le Mars the last 17 years.
Miss Kloster was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Remsen.
Survivors include two brothers: Norman, of Ruthven and Delmar of Longmont, Colo.; and nine Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Herman (Frances) Oetken.
Pallbearers were Roger Kloster, Terry Kloster, Michael Oetken, Tom Peterson, Steven Oetken and David Nielsen. The funeral was conducted by Alfred F. Moeller Jr. and burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery.
