L. KEHRBERG, 47, BURIED AT MERRILL
Lowell George Kehrberg, 47, well known Merrill farm operator, died Friday, Nov. 23, at Lutheran hospital in Sioux City. He had been ill for the past several years, suffering from Hodgkin’s disease.
Mr. Kehrberg was born Aug. 18, 1909, in Plymouth township. He had been farming in section 13, Plymouth township near Merrill. His marriage to Ruth Hillestad took place Sept. 15, 1943, at Minneapolis.
He was a member of the First Methodist church at Merrill and Giblem Masonic lodge of LeMars.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; a son, Robert Charles, 10, and daughter, Mary Beth, 6, both at home; his father, George Kehrberg of near Merrill, and two sisters, Mrs. Fletcher (Wilma) West of Merrill and Mrs. Albert (Lorabelle) Mack of Omaha.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Methodist church, Merrill. Burial was in Hillside cemetery there under the direction of Mauer’s funeral home.
