WILLIAM BRODIE WAS LIFELONG COUNTY RESIDENT

William Wallace Brodie, 73, lifetime Plymouth county resident, died Saturday
(Aug. 14, 1976) at St. Luke hospital , Sioux City, after a long illness.

Mr. Brodie was a retired auto salesman and had resided in the LeMars area
all his life. He was born May 28, 1903, at rural Brunsville to Malcolm and
Margaret Ross Brodie. His marriage to Reva Scheetz took place June 8, 1930,
in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mauer funeral chapel
with Rev. Ralph Nelson and Rev. James Ransom of the Presbyterian United
Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the LeMars Memorial
cemetery.

Survivors are his wife Reva, LeMars; two sons, Thomas Brodie, Colorado
Springs, Colo.; and Stephen Brodie, Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Joel
(Mary) Aarons, Los Angeles; and Mrs. Russell (Margaret) Kroepel, Phoenix,
Ariz.; nine grandchildren and a brother, Charles Brodie, LeMars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Jack; a sister, Mae King and
by five brothers, John, Ronald, Colin, Stuart and Robert.
