(December 23, 1930 - January 7, 2011)

Kingsley, Iowa - Carol E. Badgerow, 80, of Harrison, Arkansas, formerly of Le Mars, IA, passed away Friday, January 7th at Hospice House in Harrison Arkansas. A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Kingsley Cemetery in Kingsley, Iowa. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow at the Kingsley Community Center. The Johnson - Earnest Funeral Home of Kingsley is assisting Carol's family with arrangements.

Carol E. Badgerow, the daughter of Art and Thelma (Weaver) Higginbotham, was born Dec. 23rd, 1930, at Kingsley, Iowa. She married Robert G. 8adgerow on May 9th, 1946. Carol was a member of Eastern Star, a 4H Leader for many years and a cook at Union School. She and Robert moved to Harrison in 1973 where she worked for Emerson Electric until retiring.

Carol is survived by her son, Bruce of Moville, IA; her daughters, Judy (Roger) Muecke of Sioux City, IA, Debra (Robert) Reeg of Bergman, Arkansas, Bonnie (Mike) Evans of Harrison, Arkansas; sister, Dorothy Nitzschke of Le Mars, IA; brother Arthur Higginbotham of Arizona; 12 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; 2 sons, John and infant son Larry; a grandson Mike Evans; one brother, Robert Higginbotham; 3 sisters, Nellie Mae Fletcher, Kathleen Wenzel, Mary Etta Peterson; and Sister and Brother-in-law, Thelma and Shirley Arnold.
