Michael White

Graveside services at Merrill Hillside cemetery were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday (July 10,1987) for Michael White, 22, of Merrill. Rev. Frank Philipp officiated. The Mauer-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars was in charge of arrangements.

He died at Merrill July 6, 1987. Michael White was born Dec. 26, 1964, at Sioux City to James and Wilma Heineman White. He graduated from Le Mar's community high school in 1984.

Survivors are his father, James White of Elk Point; his mother, Wilma Talbert of Albia; a brother, Carl White of Tallahassee, Fla.; his paternal grandmother, Ethel White of Merrill and his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Hieneman of Blencoe.

Plymouth county medical examiner Dr. Daryl Doorenbos has ruled the death a suicide by hanging.
