Died in Sioux City Tuesday, January 30, 1912, Patrick J. Garvey, of Hinton, Iowa, in a hospital, of heart disease, aged 64 years. The funeral services will be held this morning at: 9 0'clock at the Cathedral of the Epiphany, at Sioux City. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The body was taken to the Sioux City residence of Mr. Garvey, 1516 Geneva street The widow and a son Peter Garvey were with the decedent at the time of his death. The surviving relatives are three brothers and one sister. They are C. P. [Charles Peter] Garvey, J. J. [James J.] Garvey, of Hartington, Nebraska and Philip Garvey of Hinton, Iowa, and Mrs. Joseph [Catherine] Graham of Sioux City, Iowa.

[He was born in about 1848 in Canada to Peter and Mary Ann Ryan Garvey.]
