Obituary
Mrs. Thelbert Lyons
Mrs. Thelbert D. Lyons, 85, Sioux City, died Friday. July 2, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

The former Elizabeth Tucker, Mrs. Lyons was born Aug. 7, 1885, at Akron. She was married Oct. 28, 1903, at Akron. Mr. Lyons died in 1933.

Mrs. Lyons was a member of Whitfield United Methodist church, the Dorcas circle and the Three Score club at the church.

Survivors are a son, Earl D., of San Bernardino, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. W. F. (Frances) Murnan of Twentynine Palms, Calif., Mrs. Lois E. Cutler of San Bernardino, and Mrs. John M. (Grace) Hill of Hackensack, Minn.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Blanche Erickson of Akron, and Mrs. Perry (Ruth) McCorkell of Lodi, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside. Burial was in Graceland Park cemetery.
